AMARNA Vida supports organisations to become high performing “conscious organisations” that are galvanized by a higher purpose that serves the interests of all stakeholders (employers, suppliers, partners, community), including the planet.

But most of all, AMARNA Vida intends to “walk the talk” and to become itself a “conscious organisation”.

In this pursuit, we had to dive deep into the concept of “conscious organisations” and understand the true meaning of it.

First of all, we started by understanding if we were operating from our Purpose. If our goal impacts a broader community and, if achieved, will leave the world just a little (hopefully a lot) better than when we started.

We reached the conclusion that our Purpose is directly aligned with our company business, since our mission is to help people to live and organisations to thrive, in a conscious way.

Personally, I have to say that this purpose aligns an individual passion, that is to bring change from the separated concept related with “health”, “well-being”, “happiness” and “sustainability” to a unique concept that is “life-ability”, and a corporate mission, to impact the community.

This is why we, AMARNA Vida, exist.

We organize ourselves around achieving our purpose, not as an add-on, or a give-back, but as the core of our business. We measure results in terms of the societal impact that it’s achieving, as the financial impact.

My personal aspiration, as Founder and Managing Director of AMARNA Vida, is that our purpose is genuinely worthy of the lives of the people who are working to achieve it.

I want us to achieve our purpose through profit. Our purpose has to be the reason for us to grow, the reason to improve, the reason to build the strongest organisation possible.

That’s why we started by defining and aligning our organizational culture based on values, making them the motivation for a decision made or action taken.

As an organisation that is working towards becoming a conscious organisation and intends to support other organisations to become more conscious too, our major challenge is to help people to grow as individuals and professionals, fostering in them a sense of feeling valued while working towards a meaningful purpose, and with that getting better engagement.

Collaborators’ engagement is key. That’s why we are focus on bringing to each one of the ones that are building AMARNA Vida, the sense that they belong, and are cared about. With this, we hope that this engagement produces better thinking, supercharges individual growth, and generates superior performance.

And we want that this feeling is shared, not only by all collaborators but also by all the other stakeholders: customers, suppliers, community, and shareholders.

That’s why the ones that lead AMARNA Vida, mainly me as Founder and Managing Director, have to be leaders that understand the interdependence of the stakeholders and are consciously pursuing a corporate culture geared towards individual self-realization and organizational transformational change.

For that, Conscious Organisations, have to have true conscious leaders that have the ability to feel, understand, and work effectively with emotions, the ability to see how things are connected and manage complexity, the ability to live and inspire higher purpose and meaning, and the ability to cultivate and promote solutions towards stakeholders happiness, well-being, health, and sustainability.

On a way to becoming a conscious leader, I demand a responsible commitment to being the change I want to see and doing things differently. So. I started with myself. I made a lot of inner work on self-improvement, to help me to become the best version of myself.

True conscious leaders promote the existence of more conscious business models that are based on human values and the well-being of all stakeholders (employees, clients, business partners, local communities and Planet), with new (non-industrial era) metrics and exponential partnership scenarios, and on optimized services/products life cycles, mainly to minimize waste generation, conserve natural capital and decrease carbon emissions.

This is also reflected on the spaces that the organisations occupy, by them being designed and conceived to improve collaborators well-being, and enable healthy occupational habits, in harmony and respect with the environment, which involves sharing, leasing, reusing, repairing, refurbishing and recycling existing materials and products as long as possible.

Don’t miss judge us. We are a pro-profit organisation and we promote the generation of profit, just not at the expense of everything else.

AMARNA Vida wants to be in the “game” of creating balance and enhancement of the whole system, thinking collectively, not separately, and creating win-win solutions for all stakeholders, including the Planet.

AMARNA Vida wants to be at the same level as companies like Whole Foods Market, Southwest Airlines, Costco, Google, Patagonia, The Container Store, UPS, and dozens of others, that, according to Raj Sisoda, the cofounder of Conscious Capitalism, Inc., in its book: “Conscious capitalism: liberating the heroic spirit of business”, work to create value for all stakeholders: including customers, employees, suppliers, investors, society, and the environment.

Does your organisation want to play the game of becoming a more conscious organisation?
